Buckle up! A temperature roller coaster in store Thanksgiving week

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

More humidity will continue to pump in overnight, leading to an unseasonably warm morning Monday with a low temperature near 60° in San Antonio. A few morning clouds will lead way to afternoon sunshine as high temperatures rebound into the low 80s.

The first of a few cold fronts in the extended forecast arrives Monday afternoon. Expect temperatures to fall into the 60s around dinnertime followed by the 50s Monday night. Winds will also pickup after the front passes through, sustained at 10 to 15 mph out of the north, gusting upwards of 25 mph through the overnight hours.

After climbing into the low-80s, a cold front moves in Monday afternoon.

Tuesday will be noticeably cooler, with morning lows in the upper 40s transitioning to highs in the upper 60s. We’ll warm things up quickly on Wednesday with highs closer to 80°, before another cold front arrives in the morning on Thanksgiving Day.

Temperatures will be cooler, but comfortable for the holiday. Expect highs in the upper 60s/near 70°, but know that winds will also be gusty. Across Texas, expect cool weather up north and warmer weather farther south in the Rio Grande Valley.

Morning temperatures will then dip into the below-average 40s with afternoon highs in the 60s for the final days of November. You’ll want to bundle up if heading out early to snag any Black Friday deals! Unfortunately, there will be no major chances for rain during this timeframe.
