Bennedict Mathurin To Miss Remainder Of Season Due To Shoulder Injury

Indiana Pacers wing Bennedict Mathurin will miss the remainder of the season. Mathurin has a torn labrum in his right shoulder. Mathurin is expected to be ready for the start of the 2024-25 season.

In 59 games (19 starts), Mathurin took major steps forward in his second season. The 6-foot-6 wing averaged 14.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. Mathurin improved his efficiency, as he hit 45% from the field, including 37% on 3.6 three-point attempts per game.

Mathurin was also named the MVP of the Rising Stars Challenge at 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.
