Three people were taken to a hospital Monday evening after Converse police said two suspects shot them at an apartment complex.

Converse police officers responded around 8 p.m. to a 911 call for the shooting in the 9200 block of FM 78, which is located adjacent to St. Monica Catholic Church.

George Shaw, a lieutenant for the Converse Police Department, initially said a man and woman in their 20s were found with gunshot wounds at the Waterford Apartments.

On Monday night, police confirmed another man was found with a gunshot wound.

Their injury conditions were not immediately available.

Shaw said police are still searching for two suspects who they believe shot the three.
