Ken Paxton was surrounded by fellow Republican candidates Sunday night as he made his final pitch to San Antonio voters to elect him to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.
Paxton used the far North Side rally to differentiate himself from his opponent James Talarico and addressed the biggest issue of this election cycle: affordability.
The attorney general shared his âProtecting the Texas Promise Plan,â which he described as âan economic vision to put thousands of dollars back into the pockets of hard-working Texans.â
Paxton also stressed the importance of the election.
âEvery poll shows itâs gonna come down to the wire,â Paxton said. âAsk everyone you know on that app or column, text them, whatever it takes. Make sure we get every Republican out to vote.â
Paxton invoked the words of President Donald Trump to conclude the rally.
âNow it is our time to fight and do everything we can on Tuesday to win for our future children, our grandchildren, for Texas,â Paxton said. âFight, fight, fight.â
