How to watch Butterfield Bermuda Championship on Saturday
The FedEx Cup fall season represents an important stretch for players who are still looking to solidify their standing for 2027, and a win this weekend could be life-changing for the tournament’s current co-leaders.
Twenty-five-year-old Kensei Hirata of Japan is currently tied atop the leaderboard with 30-year-old American Chandler Blanchet at 13 under par. A win would push Hirata from No. 176 in the FedEx Cup standings to 80, while Chandler would jump from No. 114 to No. 56.
But everyone in the field will need to keep their foot on the gas pedal. Seventy-two players made the weekend cut of five under par, and 33 of those players are currently within five shots of Hirata and Blanchet’s lead.
Drama is sure to ensue as the action continues on Saturday.
