In San Antonio, it’s been a fairly quiet start to Thursday, but the well-advertised heavy rain is currently in the Hill Country.
These storms have already produced over 2″ to 4″ of rain, and are expected to move into the San Antonio metro area this afternoon.
Storms will be near San Antonio and the Interstate 35 corridor. With any rain, expect heavy downpours, which will likely lead to street flooding. Use caution around low-water crossings. There’s a high chance that the afternoon commute will be messy, and that after-school activities and outdoor sports events will be impacted.
