Authorities are searching for a suspect after a 14-year-old boy was shot and killed on the Northeast Side, according to San Antonio police.
Officers responded to the shooting around 8 p.m. Sunday in the 4700 block of Georges Farm, not far from North Foster Road.
The victim and a friend had been riding electric scooters, but were walking when the suspect attacked the teenager, police said in a Monday morning preliminary report.
During the altercation, the suspect pulled a gun and shot the teen in his upper body. The suspect fled from the scene and has not been found, police said.
The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the report said. His identification is pending from the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
SAPD did not have a description of the suspect.
