Open Thread: Dylan Harper mural graces northside market

Colton Valentine is at it again.

The beloved local Spurs mural artists recently displayed his latest work at Sari Sari, located at 5700 Wurzbach.

The market specializes in Filipino staples. The pairing with Harper is fitting considering he’s Filipino from his mother’s side. His mom, Maria, played college ball and served as her son’s coach throughout his childhood.

Harper is the son of former NBA player Ron Harper.

Valentine posted.

“Forever thankful to highlight inspiring humans like [Dylan Harper] and work with even more inspiring folks over at Sari Sari SATX. Shout out to Sari Sari SATX for teaming up on this one! All about Pinoy Pride! And they are [gonna] be a part of the Spurs culinary residency this year.”
