Girl shot in back of head at Southwest Side home; no suspects, no witnesses, police say

San Antonio police are investigating how a young girl ended up being shot in the back of the head at a home on the Southwest Side.

The shooting happened in the 5800 block of Seacomber Place around 9:30 p.m.

Police said the girl, whose age is currently unknown, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

SAPD said they did not have any information about a potential suspect or witnesses to the shooting.
