FORECAST

Good afternoon!

It’s shaping up to be another hot and humid day across South Central Texas as highs reach for the mid/upper 90s. Factor in the humidity, and heat indices could climb into the 102°-105° in some locations, so continue to be careful out there! We’ll introduce a 10% chance for a stray shower in the forecast this afternoon, with the vast majority of the area unfortunately missing out.

A toasty start to Thursday (and Friday) night football games is expected with temperatures in the 90s around kickoff (still feeling like 100°), before gradually falling into and through the 80s after sunset.

Still toasty around kickoff with temperatures in the 90s, feeling like 100°.

With high pressure still in control over the next few days, mid and upper 90s continue into the upcoming weekend. A slight dip in afternoon humidity levels could bring heat indices down a touch compared to today, but it’ll still be unseasonably hot for any weekend plans.

A slight pattern change could bring added clouds and a few *isolated* rain chances to the forecast early next week, which would also trim a few degrees off of our afternoon high temperatures (low 90s). We’ll keep eyes on it!

7 day forecast as of 9/19/24.
