NBA Expected To Start Next Season In January At Earliest
The NBA previously announced they won’t start the 20-21 season before Christmas Day after originally planning on starting on December 1st, but Adam Silver revealed on Tuesday that the next season will begin in January at the earliest.
Silver reiterated that the NBA’s goal for 20-21 is to play a standard 82-game season.
The NBA is finishing the 19-20 season playing at a single site campus in Orlando, but that is not expected to be repeated for next season.
