You Can Now Buy A Special Box Of Banana-Shaped Pikachu Treats In Tokyo

Once again, Japan gets all the fun. Tokyo Banana, the official souvenir sweet of Tokyo city, launched a Pokémon-themed line of the curvy, banana-custard-filled cakes at the end of last year. Featuring Pikachu and Eevee in different designs, the cakes are available at Tokyo Banana shops, and will be rolled out to 7-Eleven shops across Japan over the course of January.

The most recent addition to the Pokémon Tokyo Banana line is a special, limited-edition Pikachu “Dengeki” box, containing 12 packages of two cakes each, with one of six Pikachu designs on the front (pictured below). The box can only be bought at special shops in a few of Tokyo’s train stations, including Tokyo Station, Shinagawa, Ueno, and Ebina, or on the Tokyo Banana website.

The box will be available until January 30th, and costs 3,456 yen (around £25 / $33) plus shipping costs.
