Will it snow in San Antonio? Here’s what you need to know.

Ice pellets and a wintry mix with snow was seen falling in the northern parts of Bexar County near Timberwood Park and Stone Oak areas.

Showers will continue in San Antonio with snow forming in the Hill Country this afternoon.

The cold temperatures will mix with widespread rain turning into snow for areas north of San Antonio near the Austin area. Fredericksburg,  Kerrville and Boerne could see snow as well.

Father south snow/rain mix could be seen father south near New Braunfels in the Comal area.

At the moment, San Antonio will stay with some much needed rain up to an inch through the evening. However, the line of rain/snow mix is near and we will update with any developments.

Once the rain moves out of San Antonio the cold air will stay allowing our temps to drop near freezing by Monday morning with high temps only in the 40s. Bundle up!
