Two men wanted in connection with armed incidents in San Marcos may be in San Antonio, police say

Police are searching for two men in connection with two separate armed incidents at a San Marcos apartment complex. Authorities said the two men may have fled to San Antonio.

Police said both incidents happened at The Grove apartments, located at 1150 E. River Ridge Parkway, on Nov. 17 and Nov. 20, respectively.

At around noon on Nov. 17, an unidentified man kicked in the front door of one of the apartments and found a female inside a bedroom, where he pointed a gun at her “for a short period” before exiting the apartment and leaving the complex in a white Chevrolet Impala with an unidentified driver, police said.

On Nov. 20, police believe the same two suspects returned to the complex just before 4 p.m. and assaulted and robbed a man in the parking lot. According to police, they forced the man into their vehicle at gunpoint and demanded he give them his apartment number. The suspects then took property from the man’s apartment before one of the suspects took the man’s vehicle, police said.

The second suspect drove away in the same white Chevrolet Impala as the one reported in the home invasion three days prior, police said. The Impala has a dent on the hood just above the front grill. The man’s vehicle is a 2007 blue Chevrolet Tahoe with custom black wheels.

Police said they believe the male victim was the original target in the Nov. 17 home invasion and believe the two suspects and the vehicles are in San Antonio.
