With more than 1,100 cases of COVID-19 confirmed for the San Antonio area, city data shows that one Southeast Side zip code has more cases than any other.
The zip code with the most cases reported as of April 23 is 78222, which has 84 confirmed cases of coronavirus — or about 400 cases per 100,000 people.

Three other high-ranking zip codes include 78207 near downtown, 78228 on the Northwest Side, and 78245 on the West Side — each with between 41 and 80 confirmed cases.
While most areas without any reported cases are on the outskirts of Bexar County, zip code 78203, which includes the area around the Alamodome just east of downtown, also has not reported any cases.
The majority of zip codes have between 11 and 40 cases.
