There’s a new Bat-Ginobili in town

Manu was amused by his youngest son’s choice of Halloween costumes.

Manu Ginobili’s 3 year-old son Luca knew what he wanted to be for Halloween, but he may have thought differently if he knew his dad’s history with this particular Halloween staple. That’s right, he was a bat.

Of course, no one can forget that infamous Halloween night in 2009 when Ginobili caught a bat that was disrupting play during a game against the Sacramento Kings:

The result for Ginobili was a painful round of rabies shot, and when another bat interrupted a game a couple of years later (coincidentally against the Kings again), he thought better of interfering this time:

Once again Manu had to handle a little bat for Halloween, but odds are pretty high that this one was rabies-free and fortunately unaware of his dad’s history with the little flying mammals. As Manu said:

“The little one doesn’t know yet.”
