The Spurs will have plenty of company for this year’s NBA Las Vegas Summer League

We will see an even larger increase in the off-season’s second-biggest event.

It’s just been reported that this year’s NBA Summer League will include all 30 teams for the first time. As the popularity of the Vegas Summer League has increased, it makes more sense to expand the competition. There will still be a minimum of five games per team with the usual bracket elimination. Teams can play up to eight total games.

The added 6 teams will increase the game total by 15. Even more up-and-coming star power for your buck. This is the place to see your favorite team’s drafted players tear it up.

Spurs fans remember Becky Hammon leading the Spurs to the Summer League Championship a couple of seasons back with Kyle Anderson taking Summer League MVP while Jonathon Simmons claiming Finals MVP.

Bryn Forbes also used the Summer League last year to increase his exposure and ensure some playing time for PATFO.

So, who’s going to brave the heat with me this summer? Can’t be much hotter than San Antonio in July, but with the Spurs there it will be worth it! They play indoors, right?
