The Spurs Silence The Thunder With A Dominating Win.
The San Antonio Spurs came out and punched OKC right on the mouth Saturday night with Kawhi setting the tone with a thunderous dunk to start the game. This game was over by the end of the 1st quarter as the Spurs lead OKC 43-20. The offensive onslaught by Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Danny Green proved too much for the Thunder to handle. The Spurs exposed the Thunder’s poor defensive by getting to the rim at will and taking mostly uncontested shots all night. LaMarcus Aldridge was a man on fire shooting 18-23 on the night and even hitting a three in the 3rd quarter. Kawhi Leonard was just as impressive on both ends of the floor as he finished the game with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Danny Green found his shot again going 5-8 for three and finishing the game with 18 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks. The Spurs dominated the Thunder from start to finish with a 124-92 victory and at one point lead by as many as 43 points. It would seem OKC has alot of adjustments to make if they hope to compete in this series. The next game will be on Monday at 8:30 PM the game can be seen on TNT and heard on WOAI 1200 AM radio.
