The Spurs have no room for error in the Southwest Division.
The San Antonio Spurs have no room for error in the highly competitive Southwest Division where we have three teams with winning records of at least 16 wins this early into the season. If one is to do the math, it will take no less than 47 wins this season just to get into the playoffs and with teams like Memphis, Dallas and Portland all playing great basketball the Spurs will have to keep pace just to stay competitive. The Southwest Division is stacked with talent this year and it will be tougher than ever for our Spurs to repeat as NBA Champs. I am sure we will see the Silver and Black in the Western Conference again this year but will they get to the NBA Finals? With the return of both Tiago Splitter and Patty Mills along with the way Aron Baynes and Corey Joseph stepping up their game, I expect the Spurs to return to the NBA Finals again this year. Go!
