The 9 best Cyber Monday gaming deals you don’t want to miss

Some might consider Cyber Monday offers a bit like Black Friday leftovers. But, like a reheated curry, they can sometimes be even more delicious the second time around. That’s what I hope to prove here, with a handful of the best Cyber Monday gaming deals that are still good as we come to the end of the yearly sales spree.

So, whether it’s a Nintendo Switch, some PS4 or Xbox games, a brand new 4K TV or one of many top gaming accessories – grab them here before they expire.

Nintendo Switch Lite + Animal Crossing New Horizons

Relatively light on Switch bundles this year as Nintendo favoured launching this Switch Lite offering. Luckily, it’s still a good one, with a Switch Lite console, Animal Crossing New Horizons and 3 Months Switch Online. It’s gone back up to full price at most stores, but you’ve still got a chance to get it for just £209 at Very.

12 Months PlayStation Plus for £32.85

ps_plus_black_friday

As is Black Friday tradition, a 12 Month PS Plus subscription has been reduced by 25 per cent at both the official PSN Store and Amazon. However, the best deal can be found at ShopTo, where the price has dropped to £32.85. Need to renew? That’s the best place to do so.

While you’re there, you’ll find ShopTo is also running a sale on PSN Wallet top-ups, which are great if you want to pick anything up in the latest end of year sale – or digital copies of the out of stock physical games we’re about to discuss below.

The Last of Us Part 2

Of all the PS4 exclusives reduced this year, we’ve seen the best discount on The Last of Us Part 2. It’s been dropped to £24.99 at most retailers. Naturally, with many clamouring for a bit of escapism into a brutal post-pandemic world, this offer has sold out at most stores. There does appear to be some availability still at Argos, though.

If you’ve already played Naughty Dog’s excellent and harrowing sequel, there are many more PS4 exclusives reduced this year. Once again, many physical versions are now sold out, but you can also check the PSN Store for tantalisingly low prices on God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and more.

Xbox Wireless Controller

Hang on a minute, these have only been out for a few weeks! Yep, the brand new Xbox Wireless Controller released alongside the Xbox Series X/S has already been given a healthy discount across the board. So, whether you just want an extra one to go with your new console or prefer to use a controller when playing certain games on your PC, the Carbon Black, Robot White and Shock Blue versions are reduced by £10 at most stores.

4TB WD My Passport

There’s been a lot of talk over the last few months about console storage. Both the PS4 and Xbox One are struggling with game sizes ballooning. Meanwhile, those looking to bring last-gen titles to play on the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S are looking for a way to do so without taking up the limited internal storage available in those new consoles. Enter this bulky and discounted 4TB WD My Passport external hard drive for all your game storage and transfer needs.

Remember, though, that this cannot be used to play PS5 or Xbox Series X/S games – you need them to be installed on the respective console’s internal memory (or expansion card in the case of the Series X/S). Extra PS5 SSD storage will be available soon, once Sony approves some compatible components.

LG CX OLED

Yep, we’re still harping on about the LG CX OLED. Problem is, though, there isn’t really anything out there that beats it if you’re looking for the best TV for gaming. Sure, the latest Samsung Q80T is definitely close (and you might want to go that way if the OLED setbacks are significant to you). In most cases, though, the LG CX is the top choice and has never been as cheap as this.

SteelSeries Arctis headsets

Multiple iterations from the range offered by SteelSeries regularly feature in Digital Foundry’s roundup of the best gaming headsets – and we saw lots on offer this year as part of Black Friday. You’ll find many of them still reduced over at the SteelSeries Store, including top picks such as the Arctis 5 and Arctis 1 Wireless.

Logitech G502

Often considered one of the best gaming mice you can buy, we’re always happy to see the Logitech G502 on offer. It’s now dropped to its lowest ever price over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so if you’ve been eyeing up a new pointer then now’s the time to get this reliable, responsive and comfortable pick.

BT Fibre Broadband

BT has brought out a trio of deals on fibre broadband for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Best of all, whichever package you choose, you’ll get the first three months free. Definitely a good time to upgrade your broadband if you’ve been looking this Cyber Monday.

The first is a fairly standard Fibre Essential package with 36Mb download speeds for £26.99 a month. However, for those who live in a FTTP (fibre to the premises) area, you can instead go for one of the reduced Full Fibre packages. The cheaper of the two, Full Fibre 100, offers a 150Mb download speed for £32.99 per month.

And that covers all our top picks. Before we wave goodbye to Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2020 for good, though, I just wanted to add on behalf of the Jelly Deals team we hope we were able to find you some terrific bargains this year. Thank you to everyone who read, purchased or simply put up with us over the last week or so – your support is massively appreciated. Until next time!
