Teen injured in overnight shooting on the Northwest Side, police say

San Antonio police are investigating a shooting on the Northwest Side where they say a teenage male was injured but in stable condition, according to San Antonio police at the scene.

Officers responded to the 8600 block of Fairhaven Street about 3:20 a.m. where they discovered a 15-year-old male with a gunshot to his leg. Officers say the teen claimed the shooting occurred elsewhere and did not know who shot him.

Information on where the shooting occurred was not yet released.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
