Steve Kerr pleads with Manu Ginobili to keep playing
No one is ready to see Manu retire.
Hopefully we haven’t seen the last of Manu Ginobili. If this series (and season as a whole) has been any indication, he sure looks like he has plenty more to give, but like always he will take a few months to see how he feels and make his decision based on more than just emotion.
However, if Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has anything to say about it, he’s not done. Embracing his former teammate once the final horn sounded on Game 5 and the Spurs’ season, Kerr told Manu he hopes he keeps playing and to keep going:
“Keep going, okay? Why not?”

This doesn’t feel like the end for Manu, but if it is he went out the same way he came in: with a bang and leaving all who were watching in awe.
