One man is dead after his stalled vehicle was hit by a pick-up truck Saturday night on the Northwest Side, according to San Antonio police.
The unidentified man, 44, died on impact in his vehicle when the truck that was traveling east on Interstate 10 hit the SUV, which was stalled near UTSA Boulevard, about 10:30 p.m., police say.
The driver of the truck was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A woman trying to avoid the accident lost control of her vehicle and also wrecked. She was treated at the scene.
Police have ruled the incident an accident and say no charges are planned.
