After falling to Orlando and Miami in Florida, the Spurs return home to face Harden and the Rockets.

Welcome to the game thread. The Rockets have been under-performing so far, and their last game was a 98-80 loss to the Russell Westbrook-less Oklahoma Thunder. It seems likely that James Harden and Chris Paul will lead the team to more than 80 points tonight, but anything can happen. Derrick White should be back at point for the Spurs for the second consecutive game and his first home game of the season. Pau Gasol and Rudy Gay, both out with injuries in Miami, may return tonight, but if Gasol is still out, expect Jakob Poeltl to log significant time backing up Dante Cunningham. It’s a chance for the Spurs to get back on the winning track and keep fighting for position.
