San Antonio Spurs Vs Clippers Full Game Recap and Highlights

The San Antonio Spurs faced the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night and Tim Duncan started the game by hitting a rare three pointer and  it seemed that this would be Spurs night. This however was not the case as De-Andre Jordan, Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford proved too much for the Spurs to handle and the Clippers come away with the win 119-115. This was a close game and both teams battled furiously all night but the Spurs have yet to play consistent basketball and get stop’s in the 4th quarter. Tim Duncan was asked about the teams inconsistent play after the game and said “That’s how we usually beat teams. We grind them over a 48-minute stretch until we’re able to pull away with a victory,” he said. “We’re at the point where we’re playing 30 of those 48 minutes the right way. We have the same guys we had last year and the same experience we had last year. It’s just about doing it over and over again.” The Spurs also resorted to the old hack a Shaq play on De-Andre Jordan and slowed down the pace of the game it’s just backfired on the Spurs as they were unable to come away with the win. The Spurs have not played consistent this year, but the season is not over yet and expect the defending NBA champs to figure things out just in time for the playoffs.  The loss against the Clippers is just that a loss and the Spurs will rebound and find a way back to playing championship ball and be a force to be reckoned with come the playoffs. The Spurs are back in action tonight against the Golden State Warriors with a 9;30 PM tip-off the game can be seen here locally on KENS 5 and on ESPN.
