Spurs fail to take the magic out of the Wizards.

Spurs got off to a slow start against the Wizards early in the 1st quarter and found themselves in a 19-2 hole. That’s when Kawhi and company scored 13 straight points and came back. With the continued stellar play of Kawhi Leonard the Spurs lead for most of the 2nd,3rd and 4th quarter. Late in the 4th quarter is when the Spurs started with the sloppy ball handling that lead to turnovers. It was the Spurs sloppy play in crunch time that cost them this game and the inability to get both defensive and offensive rebounds. It was an exciting game but one the Spurs could have easily won. Next up for the Spurs are the Charlotte Hornets this Saturday tip-off starts at 7:30 PM. The game will be on Fox Sports Southwest and on WOAI 1200 AM Radio.
