Spurs announce Kawhi Leonard is out indefinitely

The Spurs just released a player-specific statement that explains why they’ve been treating their best player with kid gloves all season.
KAWHI LEONARD UPDATE
The San Antonio Spurs today announced that forward Kawhi Leonard will be out for an indefinite period of time as he continues his rehabilitation process from right quadriceps tendinopathy.
”Kawhi has made significant progress and continues to move forward in his rehabilitation,” said Spurs General Manager RC Buford. “This is the best approach for the next steps in his return to play.”
