Southampton face a tricky opening day trip to Tottenham before finishing the month of August with a successive home games against Manchester United and Chelsea.
It will be a tough start to the season for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men, who will be the last team Liverpool face before the Premier League breaks up for the Qatar World Cup in November.
Jurgen Klopp’s men will also be Saints’ opponents on the final day of the season, having faced four of the top six teams throughout the months of March and April.
