Report: The Spurs have conducted a pre-draft workout with Jordan Hall

Texas A&M point forward Jordan Hall had a workout with the San Antonio Spurs last week, per a report from Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.

Weingarten also reports that Hall will work out with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics this week.

This news comes after the NBA announced Hall as one of 353 early entry candidates for the 2021 NBA Draft via an official press release a little more than two weeks ago.

Hall averaged 10.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game during his freshman season at St. Joseph’s University before entering his name into the transfer portal and committing to Texas A&M on May 4.

Although the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania product has an unquestionably intriguing skill set for someone of his stature, the six-eight creator hasn’t established himself as a surefire second-round candidate.

Collegiate players who have applied for early entry have until July 7 to withdraw their name from consideration for the 2021 NBA Draft to retain their NCAA eligibility.

That deadline gives NBA hopefuls a chance to go through the draft combine (June 21-27) and watch the lottery (June 22) unfold before making a final decision on their basketball future.

The 2021 NBA Draft will take place on July 29 at 7 PM CST at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. ESPN and ABC will televise the first round, and the second round will air exclusively on ESPN.
