Raiders WR Davante Adams Quick To Shut Down Jimmy Garoppolo “Naysayers”

In the age of social media, all it takes is one cryptic post for everyone to lose their minds. That’s exactly what happened today when Las Vegas Raiders star wideout Davante Adams put out a message via Instagram that bewildered folks. Of course, fans and observers who didn’t care for the Jimmy Garoppolo signing were quick to make something out of nothing.

Well, at least not until the team starts winning. Regardless of how people feel, general manager Dave Ziegler went out and got his guy. Once news broke that the Raiders and Garoppolo had agreed to terms, all hell broke loose. Just as this was taking place, Adams’ post went viral. It read, “If we haven’t talked in the last three weeks, don’t hit me about this s***. Thanks.”

The reaction from people was swift: “Adams isn’t happy about this” or “Adams saw his best friend get cut and now he has Garoppolo.” People were looking for someone to unleash their anger on, but for media outlets, it was an opportunity to stir the pot.
