Raiders 2021 Season Outlook: QB Derek Carr
Coming off of a season where he set multiple career highs, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is looking to do the same in 2021. This time, with some more wins as well.
Something to build off
In 2020, Carr had arguably the best year of his career. With career bests in passing yards, passer rating, and yards per attempt, Carr continued his trend of improvement under Jon Gruden. Also improved was the number of wins for the Raiders overall. The 8-8 record was backed by some phenomenal performances by Carr in the biggest games of the season. The biggest of which, being Carr’s performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. After a season where Carr led the Raiders to a win over the defending champs, he’ll be looking to repeat that performance in 2021. Some more Hail Mary game-winning moments wouldn’t hurt either.
