In what can most likely be the best for both parties, Jimmy Butler, since making his desire to leave Minnesota abundantly clear, has been traded to Philadelphia.
Minnesota has agreed to a deal to send Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia for a package that includes Robert Covington and Dario Saric, league sources tell @ZachLowe_NBA and me.

The Timberwolves have finally unloaded Butler in a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. The City of Brotherly Love will lose Robert Covington, Dario Saric, Jerryd Bayless, and a 2022 second-round draft pick in exchange for the disgruntled prima donna and Justin Patton.
Do you have any feelings on the subject? As fans of a team that saw their superstar force the Spurs’ hand on trading this summer, we have a unique perspective on the situation and vested interest in the outcome. Does Butler being sent to the east say anything?
