Pop and DM/DR are getting a head start on next season

Team USA, which will be coached by our own Gregg Popovich in 2020, has convened in Las Vegas (WARNING: awkward Pop smile):

DeMar DeRozan, the Spurs latest addition has also changed his plans to participate:

Pity that he cannot do both with outreach being a cornerstone of his personality. That said, more time with Pop may be exactly what starts the 2018-19 season on the right foot.

As far as trades go, we can plow through statistics for comparisons. But when looking at personalities, it appears the Spurs have already come out winners this season.
