Open Thread: Spurs are hiring a full-time photographer
Do you have what it takes?
For all things San Antonio, there is no other like Madalyn Mendoza. She captures the zeitgeist of the Alamo City and the spirit of the Spurs. Yesterday, Maddy posted an article announcing a “historic” job opportunity.
The job posting reads:
“Spurs Sports and Entertainment is seeking a best-in-class photographer with the ability to tell the Spurs story through behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the team’s players and staff, creating daily unique digital, social and broadcast content for both individual player and team use.”
This is the first time that the franchise has looked to recruit in-house photography. The artist hired will travel with the team.
The new position will offer a greater behind the scenes look into one of the more private teams in major sports.
