Open Thread: Happy birthday, Rudy Gay

Yet another August baby on the roster

Spurs must have the bounce house continually aired up this month as Rudy Gay turns thirty-two today. He gave some of us a scare earlier this year when he turned down the second year of two-year contract, but all is well as he has returned (with a nice little bump in pay) for another fun-filled season. Paired with his former team mate DeMar DeRozan, good times are aplenty.

Speaking of good times, let’s roll that highlight reel:

I don’t know about you, but I could use a season filled with highlight #3 (Uno Mas, Manu!).

Here’s to Rudy, may he continue to elevate his game as he recovers and may he be as awesome in this season’s H.E.B. spots as he was last season.
