The collision happened just before 10 p.m. southbound on Interstate 37 near the Loop 410 exit.

Police arrested Hector J. Osorio, 60, in connection with fatal accident. He is facing intoxicated manslaughter charges.
Police said Osorio drove up the wrong way on an exit ramp in his 2017 Mercedes-Benz and side swiped a 2008 Chevrolet HHR before crashing head-on into the unidentified driver on a 1988 Ford F-150. The driver of the F-150 was exiting from I-37 onto U.S. 181. when the crash occurred.
The driver of the F-150 was dead on arrival, police said.
EMT personnel attempted to take Osorio to the hospital but he refused treatment, according to police.
