NBA referees condemn Dak Prescott over comments about throwing things at officials
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott either jokingly or seriously defended unhappy fans who supposedly tossed bottles and other items toward referees shortly after Sunday’s home playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones made it clear Monday he in no way supports such actions, and a different organization criticized Dallas’ QB1 on Tuesday.
The official Twitter account for the National Basketball Referees Association hit out at Prescott and also asked “the NFL to take action to discourage this deplorable behavior in the future” coming off the events at AT&T Stadium on Sunday:
