NBA Extends 10-Day Hardship Period Through Feb. 17
The NBA will keep 10-day hardship contracts available to teams through at least February 17th.
The league previously was going to have the option expire on January 19th.
The NBA instituted 10-day hardship contracts in order to provide teams additional players during the COVID-19 surge in December, which allowed the league to avoid the mass cancelation of games.
