Meet the Spurs Lonnie Walker IV and contribute to a worthy cause

Head over to HEB at 281 and Evans this afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

He may have not been able to suit up since the regular season started, but Lonnie Walker IV has embraced his new home in San Antonio.

Already renowned for his community service in his hometown of Redding, PA, it should come as no surprise that young Walker, even when unavailable to play, is able to get out and rally fans for a great cause.

The San Antonio Food Bank has put forth a challenge to collect 1,000,000 pounds of food this month to feed San Antonio families in need.

Please take a moment today to remember all you are grateful for. As you plan and shop for your Thanksgiving holiday, please reach out to support Food4SA. They will be with Lonnie Walker IV today at HEB on 281 at Evans Road at 1:00 to accept your donations.

HEB and the Spurs go hand-in-hand. Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is on the advisory board of the S. A. Food Bank, so you know these are worthy causes.
