In what was the biggest off seasons for the San Antonio Spurs this past summer. One of the biggest names on the team was still 50-50 on making a return for one more season. Manu Ginobili left for the summer leaning towards coming back, but he was not totally convinced. So what was the deciding factor for Manu Ginibili to come back for one more season and a last run at another NBA title. The deciding factor was the conversations he had with Tim Duncan and Coach Pop along with the Spurs organization telling him the team still needs him. Either way it’s great to have Manu Ginobili back for one last ride and hopefully, he can ride off into the sunset with another NBA title.
