Ja Morant Leaves Court In Wheelchair Following Ankle Sprain
Ja Morant left the court in a wheelchair after spraining his left ankle in the second quarter.
Morant attempted to block Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot’s shot and landed awkwardly on Luwawu-Cabarrot’s foot. Morant couldn’t put any weight on his left leg and hopped to the sidelines before collapsing next to the Grizzlies’ bench.
Morant was averaging 36 points and eight assists through the first two games of the season.
Adrian Wojnarowski reported that an x-ray revealed no fracture.
