Help a Spurs’ fan make a difference

Mariano Reynoso, a Spurs fan from Austin, needs our help to bring beep baseball to Argentina.

Hey guys! I help out with the social media for our wonderful blog here and as the editor-in-chief, J.R. Wilco is always sending me things and ideas to help get stuff out there to you.

He recently brought to my attention one Mariano Reynoso, a Spurs fan that lives in Austin. Mariano could use all the help he can get in his pursuit of the Holman prize, which is funded by the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired located in San Francisco. Here’s Mariano in his own words:

Hi everybody! My name is Mariano Reynoso. I live in Austin. I was born in Argentina and I lost my sight at the age of 14. I love the Spurs, Manu and playing beep baseball, baseball for the blind.

I need your help. I applied to get a Holman Prize to bring Beep Baseball to Argentina! Please go here to watch my video on YouTube, and give it a like! The video with the most likes will automatically move forward to the second round! During the second round my project will be evaluated by the judges, and if I win, I can get up to $25,000 to bring beep baseball to Argentina. As you know, the benefits of team sports go beyond playing ball and I want people in Argentina to experience these benefits too!

On my YouTube channel you can also watch some TV interviews in Argentina, beep baseball videos and an interview on CBS Austin.

Please post this link where ever you can!

You can go to www.holmanprize.org to learn more about it.

Thank you very much!

To any PtR readers that have YouTube accounts, Mariano and I would greatly appreciate it if you liked his video. Let’s help Mariano bring beep baseball to Argentina!
