Mohamed Salah’s clinical finish rounded off a devastating Liverpool counter-attack against FC Porto on this day a year ago.
The Reds ran out 4-1 winners at Estadio do Dragao on April 17, 2019, to complete a resounding 6-1 aggregate victory in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Salah’s goal was the visitors’ second of the evening and arrived midway through the second half.
Roberto Firmino regained possession in the left-back area and, just 14 seconds later, the Egyptian slotted home at the other end after latching onto Trent Alexander-Arnold’s threaded through ball.
