Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.
Wow! Five losses in a row. And it doesn’t get any easier tonight, as the Spurs are in Dallas to face Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. The loss against the Trail Blazers on Saturday was heartbreaking, with a missed call on DeMar DeRozan’s drive taking away a chance for the Spurs to tie the game late, but the good guys don’t have any time to feel sorry for themselves as they need a win to stop their current losing streak. Dejounte Murray is back in the lineup tonight after resting Saturday, and it will be interesting to see if the team can recover mentally from the tough loss and turn in a good performance tonight.
