Everyone is talking about Cavani’s first United start

‘El Matador’ made his first start for the club as part of a mouth-watering front-three alongside Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, helping to earn a 4-1 Champions League victory.

The 33-year-old spearheaded the attack and showed all of his experience as a world-class no.9, acting as a focal point for our interchanging midfielders and frequently playing intelligent one-two passes, particularly in the first half when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Reds produced a mesmerising display. 

Cavani had three shots at goal and was unfortunate not to score, but it was his all-round play which caught the eye of fans – with many pointing to a stat that showed 23 of 24 passes were successful.
