The starting point guard of the Spurs had to leave the game against the Rockets with a leg injury.

Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray injured his knee late in the first half of the preseason game against the Rockets. It initially looked like it might be a very serious injury, as he spent a few moments in obvious pain on the court as the medical staff brought out a wheelchair, but he got up and walked off under his own power. He was taken to the locker room for evaluation. At this point, we don’t know the severity of the injury, but he’s not likely to to return to today’s game. Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that he will have an MRI on the knee on Monday. As we find out more information, we’ll update this story.
