De Bruyne Named In UEFA Fans’ Team Of The Year Along With 2 Other Premier League Players

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been named in UEFA Fans’ Team of the Year, as recognition for his performances.

The Belgian joins two other Premier League players in the eleven, with Liverpool stars Virgil van Dijk and Thiago Alcantara also being included.

Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Sergio Ramos, Alphonso Davies, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski make up the rest of the lineup.

There was no room for the likes of Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes or Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva, with supporters seemingly favouring Bayern Munich players after the German side won the Champions League back in August.

While De Bruyne is deservingly in the eleven after some outstanding displays, City fans will be looking to have a few more of their own players included in the team next year, with it being hoped that Pep Guardiola’s men can go all the way in Europe this campaign.
