Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Reveals Huge Injury Update

As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for their Thanksgiving Day matchup against the New York Giants, there have been a lot of questions flying around about the health status of star linebacker Micah Parsons. Right now, he is listed on the injury report with both knee and ankle injuries. However, it doesn’t appear to be something that will hold him back.

Parsons took some time to speak out about his own injury status. The words that he spoke should bring calm to Cowboys’ fans.

“Yeah adrenaline can play funny games. The soreness always hits me on a Monday. I was definitely sore. But went through my treatment, and I’m good to go.”

There is no question that the Cowboys will need Parsons on the field on Thursday. Going up against the Giants is no easy task anymore. Dallas will need to find ways to put pressure on Daniel Jones, which is much easier with Parsons on the field.

So far this season, Parsons has fully lived up to the hype that surrounded him coming into the year. He has racked up 47 total tackles to go along with 10 sacks, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and two defended passes. Those numbers show just how important Parsons is to this Cowboys’ defense.

At just 23 years of age, the young linebacker has become one of the NFL’s most feared pass-rushers. The Cowboys could not be happier with the steal that they got with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Expect to see Micah Parsons on the field and ready to go this week against the Giants. New York did not catch a break with this news. This matchup should be extremely entertaining to watch and will be a game that the Cowboys need to win to keep pushing towards catching up with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.
