Cold fronts, freezing temps and rain coming to San Antonio

San Antonio will see freezing temperatures by next week as multiple cold fronts move through the area, according to the National Weather Service.

The first front is expected to hit San Antonio late Friday morning and through the afternoon, bringing with it some precipitation.

As that front moves south, an upper level disturbance will arrive behind it Friday night or early Saturday morning.

That front will likely bring storms Saturday and will drop temperatures into the 50s on Friday and Saturday. The area could see up to 1.25 inches of rain Saturday, which is likely to stop by late afternoon.

Sunday will warm up slightly, with highs in the 60s, though Sunday morning will only hit 30 to 40 degrees.

Another cold front is expected to hit on Tuesday, bringing freezing temperatures for the first day of December, meteorologists said. It is unknown how long that front will last.
