The San Antonio Spurs ended the preseason Friday night in a game against the Houston Rockets with a 96-87 loss. Spurs head Coach Greg Popovich was quoted as saying ” We look very poor,” he said. “We look like we’re not very interested.” this after the Spurs won only 2 out of 7 preseason games. Coach Pop said that he would like to see some intensity from the defending NBA Champs as the Spurs open the regular season against the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday October the 27th at the AT&T Center.
